Recovery, relaxationand wellbeing
a moment for you, in Rapallo
Stiff shoulders after a day at the computer, a back that makes itself felt, tired legs after a run or a game of padel, or simply the need to switch off. At Essenza di Rosa, Rosalba's studio at Via Trento 15 in Rapallo, wellbeing comes from both hands and technology: tailored massages and LPG® Endermologie, a natural stimulation that can help the body feel light again.
01
The problem
Why the body builds up tension
Stress and posture often go hand in hand: when you're under pressure the muscles of the neck and shoulders stiffen, and hours spent at the computer, on the phone or driving do the rest. Tension builds up day after day until it becomes stiffness, back discomfort or simply tiredness.
Anyone who plays sport knows the other side too: after an intense workout the muscles are fatigued and, without proper recovery, the heavy feeling can last for days.
Rest, stretching and good hydration remain the basics. A targeted treatment, by expert hands or with the right technology, can help you release tension and feel light again. If the pain is strong or doesn't go away, though, the first step is always your doctor.

The solution
What LPG® Endermologie is, in simple words
LPG® Endermologie was born in France in the world of rehabilitation. The Cellu M6 Infinity® treatment head combines two motorised rollers and a flap with gentle suction: it lifts and mobilises the skin and tissues at a regular rhythm, like a very precise massage. No needles and no recovery time.
With a more enveloping rhythm, LPG® movements can help release tension, support circulation and give a pleasant feeling of lightness, even after sport. If you'd like to see Rosalba's machine, you'll find it presented piece by piece on our home page

At Essenza di Rosa
What happens during a wellbeing session
It always starts with a chat, in person at our studio: Rosalba asks where you feel the tension, what sport you do and how you spend your days, and recommends the most suitable solution, whether that's the LPG® treatment, a massage or a programme that combines them.
Besides Endermologie, at Essenza di Rosa you'll find massages for different needs: the back and neck tension-relief massage, Hot Stone with warm stones, Lomi Lomi, the Ayurveda-inspired massage with warm pouches, foot reflexology and the couples massage. You'll find them all in the full price list

Questionsand answers
A massage or the LPG treatment: which is better?
It depends on what you're looking for. A manual massage is perfect for releasing tension and relaxing; LPG® Endermologie works with precise mechanical stimulation, also useful for draining and lightness. They can often be alternated: Rosalba will recommend the right combination in the consultation.
Does the LPG treatment help recovery after sport?
LPG® movements can help release muscle tension and give a feeling of lightness after training. They don't replace rest or, in case of injury, the advice of a doctor or physiotherapist.
